Who We Are

Cornerstone Baptist Church is a body of born-again believers who first and foremost desire to magnify Jesus Christ in all that we do. We are a church that holds to the Doctrines of Grace, and we desire to make a difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters in Christ, the people in Lawson, Kearney, and the surrounding area.

Cornerstone Baptist Church is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention and is passionately committed to advancing the joy of knowing Jesus Christ as Lord. We are located at 3rd and Ingles just a block east of downtown Lawson, MO. Cornerstone Baptist is committed to the historic truths of the Bible that were preached by Christ Jesus the Lord and the Apostles, also proclaimed during the Reformation, by the Puritans, and by the founders of the Southern Baptist Convention. Cornerstone Baptist supports the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Weekly Update:

Men’s Discipleship Tuesday May 7 at 7:00 p.m. We will meet in old adult Sunday School room by nursery. If anyone wants a ride from Kearney please be at the Parks’ house by 6:20.
Prayer Meeting Wednesday & Prayer Meeting and Youth at 7:00 p.m.
Thursday Evening Fellowship Bible Study this week at 7:00 p.m.
Lord willing, we will be going through I Thessalonians 3:8-13 this coming Sunday. I greatly encourage you to read through First Thessalonians at least once this week. That is only 89 verses total.
