Adding CBC Calendar Events to your Smartphone calendar.

Do you have trouble remembering all the CBC events?  Did you know that all CBC events are kept on a Google calendar and you can subscribe (free) to have them show up on your personal smartphone calendar so that you don’t have to manually add them?

Below are instructions for both Google and Apple calendar users.

Google Calendar Users (This can include iPhone users if you use the Google calendar app instead of the default Apple calendar app on your iPhone).

While on your phone, click on this link and it should add our ‘CBC Events’ calendar to your Google calendar app.

Apple Calendar Users

  1. While on your phone, copy this link:  https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/6a00538f42f76fc146191d787cedd6047cb023edd542d62abe4a63fc00bdbc3f%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics
  2. Open the Settings app on your phone
  3. Scroll down and click on Calendar
  4. Click on Accounts
  5. Click on Add Account
  6. There will be several services shown such as iCloud, Google, yahoo, etc.  Click on ‘Other’
  7. Click on Add Subscribed Calendar.  In the Server field, paste in URL link you copied above and then click on save, save again and exit.
  8. Open your calendar app and the events should start showing up.
