Leadership

Jeff has served as the Pastor at CBC since the church was formed in September of 2005. Jeff retired as a public school history teacher in Kearney, MO and now serves as an administrator and Bible teacher for Northern Hills Christian Academy in Holt, MO. Jeff also serves on the board of directors for Indigenous Church Strategies whose mission is to train pastors in the remote areas of Oaxaca, Mexico. Jeff and his wife, Kristy live in Kearney, MO. They have two grown children, Jordan and Kaitlyn, and five grandchildren. 

Randy has served as an Elder at CBC since February 2021. Randy retired as an IT manager from a company in Kansas City, MO and now raises cattle on their family farm. Randy serves as a Sunday School teacher. Randy and his wife, Janet live in rural Norborne, MO. They have two grown children, Cameron and Brandon, and two grandchildren. 

Rick has served as a Deacon at CBC since April 2022. Rick is self-employed in the construction business. Rick and his wife, Rhonda live in Kearney, MO. They have 5 grown children, Chad, Michelle, Trevor, Zach, and Kayla, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. 

Chase has served as a Deacon at CBC since April 2022. Chase runs a kennel in Kearney, MO. Chase and his wife, Tiffani live in rural Kearney, MO. They have two young children, Sophia and Landon. 

David served as an Elder at CBC since the church was formed in September of 2005 through January 2024. David retired as a technician from an electronics quartz crystal manufacturing company in Overland Park, KS.  David serves as our Worship Leader.  David and his wife, Roberta live in rural Lawson, MO.  They have three grown children, Tricia, Matt, and Janet, and five grandchildren.
